These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website thecleanedgelab.com (the “Site”) and any products, services, or content offered through it (collectively, the “Services”), operated by The Clean Edge Lab (“TCE”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By accessing the Site or placing an order you agree to be bound by these Terms, our Purchase Agreement and our Shipping Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the Site.
1. Research-use-only statement
All products offered on the Site are sold strictly as research chemicals and laboratory reference materials intended for in vitro research and further laboratory investigation by qualified professionals only.
Products are NOT:
- drugs, medicines, or medical devices;
- food, dietary supplements, or nutraceuticals;
- cosmetics or topical preparations;
- intended for human or veterinary consumption, ingestion, injection, inhalation, or topical application;
- intended for any therapeutic, diagnostic, prophylactic, or in-vivo use.
TCE makes no representation, warranty, or recommendation regarding the suitability of any product for any use other than laboratory research, and expressly disclaims liability for any use outside of that scope.
2. Eligibility
You may only access the Site and place orders if you are at least 21 years of age, are not a minor in your jurisdiction, and are legally authorized to purchase, receive, and possess research chemicals where the goods will be delivered.
3. Acceptance of mandatory disclosures
On first visit, you must affirmatively accept a disclosure modal confirming the research-only nature of our products and your agreement to these Terms. Your acceptance is recorded in your browser. Continued use of the Site reaffirms this acceptance.
4. Account & orders
We may decline, cancel, or limit any order at our sole discretion, including where we have reason to believe the order is intended for prohibited use, fraud, or violation of applicable export controls or sanctions.
5. Intellectual property
All Site content — including text, graphics, logos, photographs, COAs, and product data — is owned by TCE or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual-property laws. You may not reproduce, redistribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.
6. Prohibited conduct
- Misrepresenting the intended use of products;
- Reselling products to consumers, minors, or for human consumption;
- Reverse-engineering, scraping, or interfering with the Site;
- Violating any applicable law, regulation, or sanctions program.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
THE SITE AND PRODUCTS ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TCE DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE.
8. Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TCE’S TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SITE OR ANY PRODUCT WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE PRODUCT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM. IN NO EVENT WILL TCE BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES.
9. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless TCE and its officers, employees, and agents from any claim, loss, liability, or expense arising out of your misuse of the Site or products, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any law.
10. Export controls
Products may be subject to United States, European Union, German, and other export controls. You represent that you are not located in, and will not export products to, any jurisdiction subject to comprehensive sanctions.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Exclusive jurisdiction lies with the state and federal courts located in Miami-Dade County, Florida, except where mandatory consumer-protection laws of your residence provide otherwise.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the current version. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance.
